I’m using Zwift on a Windows 10 laptop. I recently bought a new Garmin HRM Pro as it has the BTE to transmit and record on Zwift; also using a Kickr Core. I am regularly seeing the HRM dopout without warning and I lose any HRM recording - no warning or pattern noticed. The HRM is working fine as it also pairs with my Garmin 920XT and there are no recording issues between these devices. The
Bring the device within 3 m (10 ft.) of the sensor. NOTE: Stay 10 m (33 ft.) away from other riders' sensors while pairing. Hold . Select Sensors > Add Sensor. A list of available sensors appears. Select one or more sensors to pair with your device. When the sensor is paired with your device, the sensor status is Connected.
The HRM PRO's adcanced running dynamics (like vertical oscillation) are not available on Garmin's health & wellness watches. If running is your thing, you should have bought a Forerunner. Even the cheapest models support mentioned dynamics. And you can connect the HRM PRO to your Venu 2, by the way. I just tested it on my girlfriend's Venu 2.
1- In Garmin Connect app (iPhone XR), I sync and update the HRM-Pro. 2- "HRM connected" shown up on my Forerunner 55 before going running. 3- After my activity, i n Garmin Connect web (Windows 11 using Chrome), I can see my Forerunner 55 + HRM-Pro + my running shoes. I do not found any more data than my previous runs. I do have the same issue
NOTE: Stay 10 m (33 ft.) away from other wireless sensors while pairing. Hold . Select Sensors & Accessories > Add New. Select Search All Sensors. Select your sensor type. After the sensor is paired with your device, the sensor status changes from Searching to Connected. Sensor data appears in the data screen loop or a custom data field.
However, if you want to use the HRM-Pro as an all day activity monitor it can only be connected to one Garmin Connect account. If you do not need the all day activity monitoring (steps, etc) then the cheaper HRM-Tri or HRM-Run may suit your needs better.
Here is the solution that I found but only works if you have a Garmin watch. Basically, you need to start a ‘ virtual run ’ activity on your watch. Then your watch will appear on Zwift heart rate. If you use HR strap, your watch will send data from the strap to Zwift.
Yes that will work. Start an activity on the watch and it will record heart rate broadcast from the chest strap. If you don't wear the watch then just keep in close enough to receive the radio signal.…. A dedicated community for Garmin users to ask questions, provide answers, and share feedback.
